Art-o-mat® finds home on the San Antonio Riverwalk!

Earlier this year, the legendary Esquire Tavern in San Antonio was spruced up and reopened. Inside this beloved watering hole is an old/new Art-o-mat®. This metallic dark brown and lime mid-60’s machine will host 22 artists at any given time and the selections will change as needed. But, local and statewide artists are invited to help us keep this machine stocked.

On October 2nd, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, we will officially kickoff this machine to the public. The Esquire is located at 155 East Commerce St.

A collective of current Art-o-mat artists from Wimberly, TX will attend. They will be available to show off what they do for the project as well as give advice to artists interested in participating. The Wimberly collective has truly embraced our project and it shows in their work.

Hope to see you on the 2nd!

Our other San Antonio Art-o-mat is on the campus of the Southwest School of Art.

As always, we are interested in hearing from artists who want to be a part of Art-o-mat®. If you know someone who may be a good fit, please forward this link…
